UP Campus Student Living, the Chicago-based developer wishing to re-zone portions of Stone Ave., High St., and Hagerman Ct. in order to develop a 10-story student housing development, is conducting an informational community meeting from 5pm-6pm on September 30th in the Downtown Public Library. Unfortunately, the meeting is scheduled in a relatively small conference room, and only an hour long, so we do not know how many neighborhood residents will be allowed to speak. Significant resistance to UP Campus’ plan is expected, so there may be a crowd.
APNA leadership is working with the Fayette County Neighborhood Council to come up with a concise list of concerns to present at this meeting.
